Thanks to their vast network of trusted connections, Andrea and Isabelle are able to open winery doors for you that would otherwise remain closed. They’ve carefully selected winegrowers who are happy to share their knowledge and some of their best-kept secrets.
They understand that it can be disconcerting to travel abroad if you don’t speak the local language. Therefore, to make you feel at home, a certified English or French speaking guide will accompany you throughout the journey.
The wine tours are always in small groups not exceeding 10 travelers sharing the same passion.
The Wine Travel in Czech team carefully ensures that their selection of hotels, historical sites and restaurants fit perfectly with the discerning traveler’s taste.
So, relax, take a break, sip a glass of wine … Andrea and Isabelle will expertly take care of the rest!
We’ll be happy to guide in English, French or Czech. Any other languages on request.
My serious interest in wine started almost 10 years ago when I applied for various sommelier courses. This slowly led me to studies at Wines and Spirits International Weinakademie Österreich, which I successfully finished with a level 3 award – Advanced certificate.
I am also a member of the Czech Sommelier Association.
I was happy to turn my hobby into a profession when I worked as a marketing manager at the biggest Czech wine and spirits merchant, Premier Wines & Spirits.
I was very proud to have been born in Prague, the beautiful capital city of the Czech Republic. But as I have been into wine for quite a while, I cannot forget to mention Moravia. If you love wine, it’s the region you should not miss while visiting the Czech Republic.
As I am a local and wine is my passion, I will be more than happy to be your guide. I would love to share my knowledge and passion for wine with you – no matter if you are a wine amateur or wine expert. Everybody learns every day.
Adventurous, eager to discover and learn, I was always the one to organize the itinerary for my friends, school peers and relatives. Happy to please.
Since then, I’ve traveled & lived for more than 10 years in different parts of the globe. It has taught me to adapt to new cultures, languages & traditions.
I have enriched my passion & wine knowledge through numerous wine trips. I feel that the wine expert is the key element of a high-quality wine tasting. By experience, I also found out that, to fully appreciate & remember the body of a wine, it should be tasted where it grows.
Both wine & travel are part of my personal & professional life. For me, visiting a region is all about sharing, meeting, tasting, feeling, … ! Thus, I decided to create a travel agency based on my 2 passions to meet the expectations of both wine amateurs and travelers: experience together the wine culture of a region & enjoy limitless knowledge with dedicated care.
I have the good fortune to be one of the jury members of the Cordon Bleu Wine & Management program & now the Diploma of the WSET Level 2, Wine & Spirit Education Trust (UK).
